What it needs to become fab

Although the kitchen and bathroom looked good from far, they were far from good, so they have to go. Also the big beams have to be treated against wood munching insects and the floor has to be refreshed and whitewashed. And while we're at it, why not make the bathroom much bigger, tear the improvised childrens bedroom without windows down and put in some cool features like glass sliding doors and stuff ;-) Man, shopping was never that difficult and tiring. My brother, who is a contractor himself, and my dad are doing most of the works with help from Nik and me whenever we can... We started on the 31st of october and we hope to be ready for Christmas. The first thing I said when i saw the apartment for the first time was: "This is the perfect place for a big Christmas tree!". That's because the place is rather dark and cozy :-)
